I was living in New York City and studying art and Tai Chi. I rode the subway a lot and walked the streets, visited all the galleries and museums, bars, and pool halls. I let the flow of energy from the streets and subway flow into my artwork. It was an exercise in intuition, balance, and flow of color and line.
